Text Editing

It's possible to paste text directly from your clipboard to the whiteboard... simply ensure that you have the 'select' tool selected, click on the whiteboard and then press ctrl-V to paste the text. That will create a text box, which you can edit/resize/move.

You can also type text to the whiteboard by selecting the 'text' tool, clicking on the whiteboard and starting to type. When you click on the whiteboard, the system will display 'enter text', all selected. There's no need to remove this text before typing, you can start typing immediately and it'll be removed.

There are two ways in which you can resize text boxes. When you select a text box, it will be outlined in blue and have a few 'handles' around the outside:

  • To resize the text box without changing the size/shape of the font, you can click and drag on handle 'A' to make the text box bigger/smaller.
  • To change the size/shape of the font, you can click and drag on any of handle 'B'.
